Details

The system of projection of images is carried out thanks to a cylinder of mirror 6 m in diameter made up of 24 facets. Around this cylinder, are laid out 12 projectors of the type PIGI 4500 W, each projector is equipped with a film system in run (two films per projector) . The projector light the facets of mirror which return the image towards the screens. The screens form a ring 40 m in diameter in periphery of the unit and are twelve. The rotation of the cylinder of mirror, associate with the advance of films in each projector, makes it possible to obtain in each screens an animation with 12 images a second. The projectors and the central cylinder are installed on a link accessible to the public. Each spectactor who can visualize the image on the screens and at the same time include/understand the principle of projection and animation.

Thanks to the multiple combinations of the process of projection of images, this device makes it possible to explore several programs of images:

- different fixed Images in each screen
- Images in run in the screens
- panoramic Images 360 degrees
- Animated Images (12 ims / dry)
